I hope you all had a Happy Mother's Day yesterday (especially if you are a mother, but even if you aren't!) I am so sorry I haven't posted in about a month, I didn't realize it had been that long. There has been so much going on, and of course I'm way behind on sharing what's been going on with Elina. Let's start with Mother's Day and work our way back shall we!!!
My little "mini me"!!! I've waited for more than a year for Elina to wear this outfit! Stacy and Michael got it for her and I was actually wearing my gouchos and silky blouse when I opened the gift! I've known that we were going to wear these outfits on Mother's Day ever since! Her little gouchos are too cute and her silky blouse makes her look so grown up! Crazy!!!(Thank you Stacy and Michael!!!)
I didn't really want to post a picture of just me, but this was the only one that showed off my corsage that Jason got for me. Isn't it beautiful! Jason looked up the background of the whole Mother's Day corsage. He wanted to get me a red one since my mother is still living, but the flower shop was fresh out! So he got this beautiful orchid instead!
ps...if your husband ever comes home from "running an errand" the day before Mother's Day and asks you "So what are you going to wear tomorrow?"...DON'T reply with "Why? You aren't going to get me a corsage are you? I'm really not into the whole corsage thing!"...He may have already gotten you one (you know when he went to "run an errand"). You may get the "Biggest Brat of the Year" award, and you may also wake up on Mother's Day morning with an unexplained excitement to GET to wear a corsage for the first time as a Mother (with a baby on the outside!)
