Falls and Faces...

I could kiss this "kissy face" all day long!

...or this O face! :) Elina has really started making lots of different faces now. This is one of Jason's favorites...I still don't have a really good pic of this expression, but you get the idea...she makes this little o with her mouth all the time...I guess I shouldn't say all the time, just when she's not making other faces! :)

As I was working on a project for our AWANA bulletin board, Elina literally just stared at me. She didn't hardly move a muscle for a good 10-15 min! I think she was watching my paint brush move back and forth...who knows, maybe we have a future artist in our midst!

"The Falls"

We took Elina to the Falls for the first time last week, she didn't really have much to say about it...just took it all in! Although it was a really long day for her in WF (as she proved by screaming the entire way home that night) she did seem really interested in all of the nature around us. I was glad we got to go since I haven't been able to get out and show my daughter all that God has made for us to see (except for the short walk from home to church on Sunday mornings). I hope to go back soon to get some 4 mo. pics.

New Noises of the Week...

I think she may be a Soprano! :) The smacking and kissing hasn't come out in a few days now...instead when Ellie wants to make a noise this is what has been coming out! Precious!
(Yes I know my daughter is just wearing a diaper...not that I think it's wrong to let your baby go around the house in just a diaper...we just normally don't...besides...
aren't her rollie pollies perfectly huggable, kissable, and loveable!)

Newness is so Exciting...

Toes!...She found her toes!...Over and Over and Over!...(as you can see, I love to catch Ellie having her second most favorite meal of the day!)

Jason likes to carry Elina out of the bedroom while she's still holding her feet from her diaper change! (notice anything in the background?...Jason is anxiously awaiting the next holiday so he can get Season 8!)

We've had a few firsts in the last couple of weeks regarding Elina's sleep habits...

Sometimes it's a battle to get her to go to sleep...this was the first time she fell asleep in Daddy's arms like this...(after much bouncing, rocking, and handling, Jason turned her around and voila!)

Sometimes it's not a battle to get her to go to sleep...(this was actually the second time she's done this, but the first was when she was about a month old...and it hasn't come close to happening since!) We had just gotten home from doing some work up at the church, laid her down, and voila!...if only it was that simple every time!

This was the first time I heard Ellie early in the morning through the monitor and decided to let her wait a little while longer before getting her out of her crib. I fell back to sleep and apparently she did too, because this is how I found her about an hour or so later when I woke back up!

Rolling Over!...

Already!?!? On her 14 week birthday, Ellie decided to try something new...she actually rolled over. Jason and I were just sitting in the living room, Ellie was on the floor playing, and I noticed she was trying to roll over. Now that part wasn't new...she "tried" the week before, but this time seemed different! I just had a feeling she was going to make it all the way...I grabbed my camera...started filming...and 2 minutes later...she did it! (the video is too long to upload though) After just one day of mastering the art, she rolls over nearly everytime she's on her back these days! I uploaded serveral videos because I couldn't pick just one...the hard part was getting the camera to focus before she rolled...she's so fast. It's so fun to see her doing so many new things! I have to say that she is the most Graceful Roller I've ever seen!

New this week...We've caught her, in her crib, 180 degrees from the position we laid her down in! She's also discover she can eat her toes!
