We had such a great trip to Houston! What a blessing to see so many of our friends...Elina has so many wonderful "aunts". I'm just sorry that we didn't take any group pictures of us girls, I can't believe we didn't do that! We went to Houston to welcome home our long lost friend Valerie! We praise the Lord for using her for the last two years in another country, Glory to Him who has done great things! We are so thankful for her safe return and look forward to seeing what lies ahead for that beautiful lady!
We got to stay with Jason's Aunt & Uncle's family on the way down to Houston, with Valerie's family while in Houston, and then we stayed with my Aunt & Uncle's family on the way back. We are so blessed to have such sweet families...Thank you all for being so welcoming!
Elina traveled extremely well...she was such a trooper! In and out of the carseat over and over again and no fussing until the last two days...even then she didn't really fuss that much! Wow! What a great baby girl! Here are the before and after shots...

As you can see...Bugsy is in both pictures...Ellie really started playing with him a lot during the trip. I got some great video clips of her playing and talking, but they are too long to upload. It was fun to watch her interact with her toy...she would grab onto him and pull him to her mouth most of the time!...she's really exploring a lot with her mouth these days!
These are two of my favorite pictures from the weekend...Jason is always so good to help me take care of Ellie...he's such a great Daddy! Whether it's sleeping or playing with Daddy, Ellie loves spending time with him...as you can see...
Thank you Dennis and Joanie for Ellie's new favorite pillow! I asked Jason what we should name her, and he asked why it needed a name...I said b/c every stuffed animal needs a name! So he picked Emma...Maybe some day Ellie will have a different name for her friend, but for now we'll go with Emma the Sheep.
